TABLE HOSTING IS EASY!

When you register for the Banquet you will be given the opportunity to sign up as a Table Host - then:​

1.    Prayerfully consider, then personally invite your guests and make sure they know the date, time, place, etc..  Each table will seat a total of 8 people including yourself.  Please feel free to invite more than one table.  If you are filling two tables, we would want a familiar face at both tables, so you and your spouse may sit separately, acting as table hosts for each table.

2.    Make sure your guests understand that there is no charge for them to come but that this is a fund-raising dinner.  Don’t be afraid to ask them to bring their checkbooks.  The ministry is funded by many people who are not necessarily wealthy, but have a heart and a commitment to the ministry.

3.    This is a very elegant evening and dinner is expensive for those who have underwritten this event.  No children.  Adults only, please.

4.    We’d like you to fill all 8 seats at your table if possible.  If it looks like you will not be able to do so, please let us know early as seating is limited, and we’ll need time to arrange for other guests to sit at your table.  AND - feel free to invite MORE than one table - we can accommodate as many guests as you’d like to bring as long as we have their RSVP by 10/5!

5.    If your guest(s) do not want to register online - or do not use email, we can provide you with Banquet Information Cards to give them.  We can also provide you with these cards if it will help you with the invitation process. 

6.    We are required to confirm and pay for all dinners 4 days prior to the dinner!  We will pay for all dinners not eaten.  Make every effort to fill your table when someone cancels.  We must have a call before noon on Monday, October 5th to correct or make any changes to your reservations. If guests do not come, we are responsible to pay for their meals anyway.

7.    Please call and remind your guests two days before the dinner, to reconfirm their reservation.

8.    As table host, you should arrive no later than 6:00 to greet your guests at the table, and encourage them to check out the raffle items.

9.    After the fund-raising appeal is given, please pass your envelope on the table to collect the guest’s pledge cards.  Then place the envelopes in the master collection envelope for your table.

    We will have Board members coming around to each table to pick up the envelope at the end of the evening.
